About
I am Wu Su, a postdoctoral researcher at Laoshan National Laboratory. My research lies at the intersection of data science and Earth science, and I work with Professor Zhao Jing. I received my Ph.D. in Data Science from Peking University in 2026, where I was supervised by Professor Song Xi Chen. I am also grateful for the guidance of Professor Yumou Qiu during my doctoral studies.
My research focuses on statistically principled methods for data assimilation and data fusion, motivated by applications in Earth and ocean sciences. I am especially interested in scalable data assimilation systems, physics-informed statistical learning, and high-dimensional statistical methods under computational constraints.
My current work develops deployable methods for Earth-system modeling, including ocean prediction, carbon-flux estimation, and real-time observation and decision-making systems.
